Pham Doan Trang is a leading journalist and an advocate for democracy in Vietnam, raising awareness on a broad human rights agenda in Vietnam.

Pham advocates human rights in Vietnam, especially freedom of opinion, freedom of expression and of assembly.  Pham founded several media outline to promote the right to freedom of expression. She also founded Liberal Publishing House which has been awarded by International Publishers Association Award in 2020. Pham Doan Trang is the author of several books.
